well yes having sex during festival days is considered as sin because festival day is considered as a pure or good day of worshiping and even taking blessing so sex should not be entertained during those days. Should have control during festive seasons. There are other days on which one can enjoy sex. And also its all about perception.

This is the matter where the decision maker is your husband. God is creator of this world, seasons, days but human make festivals not God. So I don't think there is any problem to enjoy your life on festival days in fact festival days are happier days as compered to normal life days. So one should enjoy his/her married life in this day.

Everyone has his/her own preference for sex. Not everyday is a festival day. So,why do you need to push your hubby to have sex on festival days only. Why not other days, why not let him have some of his own preferred day, too, for sex. You don't need to have sex on festival days!!

There are certain things need to be followed and were followed by our ancestors. Even if we dont know the reason we need to blindly follow it. There is some basic difference between civilized and uncivilized. Now-a-days people doing whatever we want since we are earning a lot and dont have self control and we will simply justify that "We have only one life and why not enjoy it?". Then what is the difference between a dog and human beings. Dogs and other animals have sex whenever/whoever it likes. I think we need to behave like civilized!!

No it is not considered a sin.
Its individual's view on life, and views should be respected. If he feels not to, go for it. Its not that he is refraining throughout the year. Sometimes when you dont feel like and tell him, does he force?
The basic issue here is on fetivals, specially religious ones, people tends to surrender to God, and they want to stay pure in mind and body. Not having sex on those days is his view. Accept that. Why you think its sin? Its the cleanliness he wants.
If you rhubby is an addict of having sex on your 5 days off, I would not say he is a man with cleanliness. If he refairns, means he is as a gentleman as others.

No it doesn't mean that it is sin when u do sex during festive days. There may be the reason of purity and concentration. I hope ur hubby is devotee does puja yagna etc and he may uncomfortable For sex during Festive days. he feel that he may fail to concentrate on puja. when u r doing puja, ur mind should not get disturbed or diverted. for that reason only he is avoiding u for sex.. but its not sin... Be positive

The common difference between other animals and man is that, animals have certain period of year where they keep sex relations among each others, but in human we are worst then animals because we are ready for sex 24 x 7.
So cant we control our feelings for some important festival days?
At least we can prove that 'in sex' we are sharper than animals.
