We took an initiative to make one or two Editors from the members. This is basically to help the site become dynamic with members participation. We stated this in December/2011 and thought of taking two. As it was the first month, we thought lets try with one and see how it works. I am happy to say, Pussycat was a big success for all, and he raised the bar.
An Editor is not a helping hand to Moderator (Oye) and Admin (Rati ji). Editor is the one who calls the shot, who decided which are the right questions and which are the garbage questions. Its his decision that both Oye and Rati ji follows.
This is the call for January/2012 editorship. We are planning for two this time as for one its a bit stressful. The editor doesnot have to spend all the time in Laptop, spending an hour is okay to check back the question, reformat to make that understandable and mark TBD for the one he thinks To be deleted.
Those who applied before, are encouraged to apply again. Those who didnot please do apply. If you are selected, I will give some personal time on rule of the business, I believe I am not a bad assistant. This is something we want to rotate in turns so that all good writers get a chance to be editor at some point.
Please apply at Be an Editor. Send me a private message to me also so that I can prepare my findings. At the end, its Rati ji's decision on who should be the editor(s). Please inform me that you have applied (applied means showing interest that you are interested to give your time, no Resume is required). Informing me helps to decide faster as I read the question answers minutely. Dont ask with a request of making you an editor, rather just a line that you have applied.
And if you are not selected this time, please dont get upset and stop applying, in future months your turn will come. Be a part of this Elite team, AskAnjali is the only site that let the members run the show.

PS: I love what Pussycat is doing. Given with a chance, I dont want to lose him. He is matured, knowledgable and with good sense of judgment.
