Dear Anjali Aunty,
First of all, I would like to thank you for your gracious and selfless effort in helping out so many individual's. I couldn't resist looking forward to getting some help from you, like million's of other people. We show our trust towards you on questions that we fear to ask publicly.
My girlfriend and I have been having to sex for the last two months or so. On the first two occasions, I was without condoms and she took an i-pill just in case. Then I did some research and I found out that i-pill is not really safe. So I chose to have sex with condom's but didn't enjoy it much. I trust my girlfriend so it is not an issue of getting AIDS or anything of that sort. We fear her getting pregnant.
So my questions are –
1. If I ejaculate outside her, will she still get pregnant?
2. What about regular pills? Are they safe? I have heard that there are side effects. Is it true? If not, what is the proper way to take it?
3. When is the maximum chance of getting pregnant? I mean after or before her periods? Or is this just a myth?
4. Should we stick to i-pill?
5. Is there a way to know if you are pregnant or not on the next day after you had sex?
6. Is there any injection a guy could take that would be good enough to have sex without condoms? I know I have asked a lot of questions in one post but believe me, we are the younger generation and specially in this society we can't talk about sex at all. We are all very confused about these questions. Answering these would help out a lot of confused young guys out there like me.
I am really very tense about these facts as I really care for my girlfriend. Please do answer my questions if you have the time. I would be ever so grateful to you.
Thank you.

Its really nice to see ur concern in regards to safe sexual practices. and I wish u and ur girl friend a happy and interesting sex life. Now in regards to ur questions I'll answer then point wise
1) Not ejaculating inside her or pulling out or technically what is called "coitus interuptus" is actually a contraception technique with very high faliure rate. Sometimes sperms can even be trapped in precum and sometimes in the heat of the moment its not possible to pull out.
2) Regular contraceptive pills have good rate of contraception and has been used widely all over the world. But frankly as a doctor i dont think I would advice long tern usage of contraceptive pills to someone who has not even started a family. These contraceptive pills actually tinker with a very delicate endocrine system in our body so i personally am not a big fan of the pills and some pills like the progestrone only pills have high rates of failure and can predispose to complicated pregnancies such as ectopic pregnancy.
3)The maximum chance of getting pregnant is during the fertile phase of teh cycle that is nearly a 3-4 days before the 14th day and about a weak after the 14th day of the cycle. These days are calculated considering the first day of menses as the first day of the cycle. The formulae used to calculate the safe period for sex takes into consideration the length of the 12 pervious cycles and is dependent on the shortest and the longest cycle taking into consideration the variance is female menstural cycle.
the formulae is calculated as such,
First note down the the shortest and the longest cycles during the last 12 cycles.
The first fertile day will be minus 18 days from shortest cycle.
The last fertile day would be minus 11 days from the longest cycle.
For example : – if the short cycle is 25 days the first fertile day would be ( 25-18 ) – 7th day
if the longest cycle is 32 days, the last fertile day would be ( 32-11 ) – 21st day.
Thus there should be abstinence for 2 weeks from 7th to 21st day.
4) i-Pill is not intended for regular use. Its regular use can harm the female reproductive system and endocrine system leading to latter complications in conception.
5)No u cannot find out the next day if u r pregnant or not it takes atleast a week.
6)Yes there are such injection for both guys and gals but I would not recomend them again for the reason given in point 2 of my answer.
As for u both being completely faithful to each other and hence no need to be carefull in regards to STDs.
U dont seem to understand that quite a few STDs can be contracted by non sexual routed such as Hepatitis B and HIV can be contracted thru Blood transfusion,Needles, inadequate sterlisation at dental and medical facilities. Certain viral infections can even be contracted thru infected clothing items such as towels. So in this reagrds condoms have been the best protection.
As for reduced pleasure try super fine condoms that are available with certain companies such as durex. and pleasure can be increased by adding variance and spicing up ur sex life…Remember the most erotic organ of our body is our brain so use it…….
