10 Reasons To Make You Have More Sex Than You Do

I know it’s a well-known fact that most men don’t need reasons to have more sex, but how many guys actually stop to think about the fact that sex plays a key role in their overall health and well-being? Regular sex is more than just having fun; good sexual health is vital to a man’s overall physical, psychological and emotional health. Sex can potentially benefit everything from a man’s short-term mood or a headache, to longer-term issues like heart or the reduced risk of prostate cancer.

I don’t need to tell any horny 20 something guy the benefits of unwrapping my saree, but when you are 35 years old and married to the same woman, you tend to take sex for granted and stop caring about ways to impress herwith your body – I know you do. Good sex is a cost-effective and enjoyable way to ensure your long-term health. It’s cheaper than a gym and a lot better for your abs than a six pack. With the average middle class guy being more mindful than ever about both his budget and health, sex might just be what the doctor Anjali Aunty ordered (from an email from a doctor friend in the US).

Here are reasons to have more sex than you do-

No.10 – Burn those calories.

While sex alone may not be enough to create Salman’s biceps and Aamir’s abs, intercourse definitely gets the blood pumping by raising the heart rate and burning calories. Studies show that an average love making session can burn from 85 to 200 calories in 30 minutes. That means if you had sex daily for 30 minutes for 1 year, you would lose more than 5 kgs in weight. Surely thats more fun than running on the treadmill.

No.9 – Increase your strength.

Apart from burning calories, sex helps in testosterone production, which strengthen bones and muscles. Testosterone is also responsible for maintaining healthy energy levels, mood, fertility, and sexual desire. So having sex today could help keep your sex drive up for years to come. Decreasing testosterone levels, known as andropause or male menopause, can result in a number of side effects including decreased libido, fatigue and depression etc. With the pressure at work ever increasing, you don’t want to stop having sex after 30 do you?

This one is well known. The decreased blood pressure that can result from sex could help lower your stress level. Various study participants have been shown to have a lesser rise in blood pressure during stressful situations after sex, as compared to other test subjects. Moreover, sex releases feel-good endorphins that can help lower anxiety. Who doesn’t want to forget about a tough day at the office with a good roll in the bed?

No.5 – Boosting your immunity.

Everyone is looking for ways to keep their immune system strong during this intense summer season – one that could potentially be the worst in years. What men may not realise is that regular intercourse increases levels of immunoglobulin A - an antibody known to boost the immune system. Having sex once or twice a week could help ward off colds or the flu.

No.4 – Improved intimacy.

Right before orgasm hits, a number of endorphins are released and levels of the hormone oxytocin, sometimes referred to as the “love hormone,” surge to five times their normal level. Oxytocin may sound like the new wonder drug when you consider that research has also shown that the increased levels of the hormone, along with the antidepressant chemical serotonin (which is also released during orgasm) promote deep sleep. Getting a restful night of sleep has been associated with a number of other health benefits, such as maintaining a healthy weight and lowering blood pressure.

No.1 – Long-term reproductive health.

Just as men need regular exercise to stay healthy and fit, exercising the penis, by achieving erections, is vital to maintaining a healthy sex life for years to come. Men who don’t regularly engage in sexual activity or masturbation are at a greater risk for penile atrophy down the years.     it is nice that you preach about sex.
    your words will definitely count for married middle aged people who might have lost interest in sex.
    you say it right, sex is another good form of exercise.
    also these days younger generation is sexuality active but there are millions of young men who never get a chance of unwrapping sarees.
    it is here that i disagree with you.
    when the time comes the horny twenty something gets an opportunity to unwrap a saree he is on the verge of losing interest in sex.
    there would be many 20 somethings who visit AA.
    they will surely get excited when they hear something like unwrapping Anjali's saree from their very own Anjali Aunty but will languish later as they will never get a chance of doing so not only with you but also with anybody else.
    so it would be better if you dont take their emotions for granted and fool around with it.
    it is my request to you to be extra careful when choosing your words.

  2. Thanks a lot, Anjali for such a good posting. It is really well written. You have written mostly from physical point of view. Sex is more of mental than physical. One is mentally pacified if one's sexual urge is satisfied and one can concentrate on one's job. Sex is the headiest force on the earth. It makes the world go round. It is the root cause of almost everything.  Yet everything is good to a good limit. One should have it after due consideration.

  4. Its a medically proven fact that having safe sex in regular interval with a single partner is the best of of having a great health.  This helps in you longivity too.

    What Anjali ji has summerize is really fact, based on experiments done in different times.  But dont miss out the key word, its "regular" sex, not "excessive sex".  If Antibiotic helps you, doesnot mean you take whenever you feel.  Give the right gap of 8 hours for each dose.  Regular sex doesnot mean everyday.  You can make a routine, go for 2/3 times in a week, the rest of the days, dont have to have sex, cuddling together is a great joy too.

    Now my dear Anjali Aunty, a few words for you.

    1. Why 20 something gets all the luck?  People here with 30 something and 40 something…. give them some chace too.  They are more experienced.

    2. After reading your post, a number of youngster might be busy on trying to fold open elder women's saree, or busy shagging thinking of you.  If first one takes place… the population is going to boom real soon.

    3. Whatever you have written, all are right outcome.  Now give some advice to those who dont get a convenient hole, depending on hand only.

    Today I chanced upon to go through this article of yours and I am fully with you, to the likes of late Rajneesh, I mean 'OSHO'.
     
    The real issue in today's time is of females not accepting this fact on the face of it because of social exposition or the fear of getting in to trouble/blackmail/pregnancy etc. etc.
     
    Males are always for it but females make it a point to tease males or look from the business angle to gain something in cash/kind with out realising that this regular sex (not excessive sex) helps even them to be free from all such ailments as mentioned in your article besides having a prolonged healthy life in old age.
