Hi Anjali Aunty,

I am Sudhir Patil of 33 years of age, from Amravati (MS). I am married for 4 years.

But from last year I have a problem during sex. My wife who is 28 years old has no interest in sex. When we try to have intercourse, she feels nauseating (like vomiting).
And because of this she asks me to stop. I have not been satisfied for the last one year.

What do I have to do? Please help me.

1. Hi Sudhir,

   It is really unfortunate to hear about your sex life (or rather the lack of it). What you are going through is one of the most common questions I get here. Most of the time, the problem is just in the mind. Usually I recommend solutions like more open communication between husband and wife, more foreplay, roleplay, sex toys etc etc.

   In your case, I don't think these alone would be sufficient because your wife seems to be having a genuine medical problem. Feeling nausea during sex for over an year requires immediate notice of a doctor. It could be related to a deeper health problem.

   I urge you to take your wife to a gynaecologist and/or a sexologist to discuss the problem openly and get treatment. From what you have said to me, its impossible to assume what is wrong with your wife.

2. Hi brother, its an unusual question to me.
   She feels like puking, haven't you checked with the doctor yet?  On question related to medical reasoning, I always try to avoid.  Still I am attempting this because there was a funny instance I once heard from a friend of mine.
   The problem was, the guy was having a teeth problem, his gum was having infection and there was bad odor.  He was such a smoker that whenever he was there, we always used to get the smell of smoke with him.  His wife was having the same problem and once he informed us about this no-sex.  I was pretty close to her wife as she was a friend too, I asked her whats the problem.  She said its his gum problem, whenever he comes for sex with a kiss, she cant stand.  And she feels its rude to tell him.  I told her people having this problem never can get that smell on their own.
   It was a few days treatment, things got on to track again.  Can you check your dentist too?

3. Dude..

   I had a friend who's wife complaint about the same thing. Looks like my friend was the problem Why don't you ever think what the problem with you is. Talk to her, make conversation my friend. Take her out. You know what .. girl's love to be suprised. When is the last time you did something to satisfy her. May be you never took a step and all you wanted was to satisy yourself. Always treat a women as another person, a friend. See what she has to say and what she wants. Hope you get the message.
