Hi Anjali Akka.

This is Raju. How are you? I hope you were fine. I didn't get any answer from you for my previous 2 questions. I am very much disappointed for this. Anyways I hope this time you will give answer to me.

I am wheatish looking, average body. I'm pursuing MBA in a local college. I loved my BBM classmate for the last 3 years. I couldn't propose to her due to fear. Now she has joined our MBA college itself. She is in another section. All was right till I came to know about her that she is engaged with my previous classmate.

She only openly told me that she is engaged with her friend. Till now I had not proposed my love to her. But I cared for her but she also know that I care for her in a friendly view. I love her very very very much. I can give anything for her. Still now I can. I wish their relationship would break up.

I have never seen her from a sexual point of view. I am very emotional in this matter. He is also doing MBA somewhere. I feel very much jealous with him – I don't know why? I would be happiest person in the world if she agree to my love and if she leave him.

One more thing is that her friend told me that our pair is good. Both of us are traditional and cultural. I know our chemistry matches – like RAB NE BANA DE JODI. I love my darling in real life and death problem.

Friends and Aunty I have revealed everything in front of you. Please suggest me how can make her my girlfriend?

Please help.

1. Hey mr rajkumar. its not a problem at all. Y do u worry for that. Just show ur love at her and see she wil leave him. and come to u and kiss u… Who show much love, whose love is strong Those can win. good luck…

2. Hi Raj,

   First and foremost let me make this clear – this is not RAB DE BANA DE JODI. What are you 12 years old??? Stop believing what silly things others say about you and gather the guts to inform the girl yourself. How can you love a girl for three years and not tell her? 

   Tell her. Don't make a big issue it. Just give it to her straight. Acting like a drama king could make her reject you. Don't get angry with her if she says no. Remember, loving someone is not something people plan or do on purpose. Strong feelings like love arise from emotional stimulation, not choice. Respect her reaction. If she doesn't love you back, your life isn't over; it may be hurt, but that's how she feels. Plus this will take a huge load off your chest.

   Wait for the right moment. Don't tell her when either one of you is amongst friends obviously. Wait until you are alone. But when you are, don't wait to tell her. Go easy on her, since telling her that you love her might be a bit overwhelming and she may need a minute or two to think about it.

   Since you have been her friend for a long time and now you want to be more, then she probably does not see you in that light. In this case, you must "change yourself" in the sense that you have to portray yourself as someone she can love and be attracted to, instead of just someone who is just friendly. This change needs to be something positive for yourself and illustrate your good qualities. 

   Some practical tips - 

   Look and smell nice. This might just give that extra bit that was needed.

   Be yourself. Be confident! Look her in the eye, stand tall and smile. Most importantly, speak without hesitation, particularly if you act shy on a normal basis. You must demonstrate that you believe the words coming out of your mouth and can back them up with the strength of your devotion.

   Don't tell everybody you know you love her before you tell her. It is not a good thing if she finds out on her own.

   If she rejects you, ask if she wants to stay as friends; letting her know you care about her might help change her mind eventually.

   Please stop being juvenile and jealous for no reason. Do the right thing.

4. Hi Anjali,
   I read your column everyday for the past maybe 1.5yrs and enjoyed it seriously until now, I have a doubt myself. I am 25 and have a girlfriend for the past 3.5 years and we are getting married within a year with our parents consent. But major part of our relation was over phone, first due to our college and now due to our job. She is very cultured, attached to me and love me a lot, but is not that beautiful. I myself am not a very good looking guy but still many times thoughts creep into my mind that if I would have gone for arranged marriage I would have married a stunning looking girl. I sometimes I feel that looks are not that important. I am totally confused about this whole relationship and lately she has become a bit more possessive than I can be OK with and which literally suffocates me. There has been many times that I broke up with her but the very next day the emptiness in my mind and heart starts killing me and I go back to her, and every time she forgives me for whatever I had done. Please help me out how do I calm my mind and body (the moment I see a stunning girl an urge to have sex with her develops inside me) and be faithful and caring, in true sense.
