Why so pin-pointed on Anal sex?
Rate this answer » Good / BadIf you are not with a regular dedicated partner, any form of unprotected sex can, be it anal, oral, vaginal or lipkiss can lead to disease.
If your question is analsex without protection to known one, the answer is as long as both are properly clean, its not going to lead a disease without protection.
Better to use condom as anal cavity is a factory of bacterias and germs.

The simple answer to your question is YES!
Anal sex is known to be be one of the leading transmitters of STDs and I will explain why. Many people have said that gay sex is the easy way to get STDs but this is only partially true. Anal sex is one of the easiest ways to pass on STDs.
Inside your anus the skin is quite thin and the blood vessels are near the surface. It is a more sensitive area because of this and this why many people enjoy anal sex.
This all makes the absorption into the blood stream easier then most other ways.
However the main thing that people need to remember with STDs is that they can only be passed if one person is actually a carrier of the disease.
The moral of the story is: be safe, use a condom and get regularly tested especially if you change partners often. If you are in a long term committed relationship and both partners have been tested for STDs then you can safely has unprotected anal sex.
