Women's Feature : Love your vulva and vagina!

Love your vulva and vagina!

The aim of this Article is to introduce you to some of the ways in which women relate to their genitals, sex, masturbation and orgasm.

There's lots of information from surveys which will give you some sense of how compare to the rest of your sisters, and tell you a little about what women like to do sexually in the Western culture in which we live.

One of the big findings of surveys like this is that women have a lot of shame around their bodies, and so we offer you a number of suggestions about how you can really come to love your vulva and vagina!

Anatomy of the clitoris, labia and vulva

For those of you who'd like a basic anatomy lesson, here's a diagram which shows the structure of the female genitals.

The vulva is the external and obvious part of the female genitals, the part which is visible under the pubic hair. On the diagram below you can see the opening of the vagina at the lower end of the vulva, surrounded by the labia which meet in a point on the underside of the clitoris.

Between the vagina and the clitoris is the opening of the woman's urethra, the opening from which she pees. The vagina is of course the outermost point of entry into a woman's reproductive and sexual system. The vagina is between three and six inches long.

How to have a G spot orgasm, female ejaculation and more....

A vaginal orgasm usually happens when I've been really stimulated by extended, loving foreplay from my partner.

After an hour or so of lovely, teasing, sensuous body massage I want him in me very much and we're really connected emotionally. It's at this point that he can start the waves of energy moving through my body by stimulating my G-spot.

Vulva size (what is normal?), labial modification, reduction, and enlargement (labiaplasty, vaginaplasty, and more)

Just as men worry about the size of their penis, women are prone to worry about vaginal and vulva size. As you know, if you've been browsing this website, the vulva is the part of a woman's genitals which you can see externally. Therefore, strictly speaking, the clitoris, the labia, and the urinary opening are all part of the vulva.

Women and men's sex & masturbation experiences

We're especially interested in hearing from women who want to share their masturbatory experiences with the rest of the world! Think of it as sharing the things that give you great orgasms or make you come easily, so you can maybe help lots of other women get that pleasure too! But we also describe what women do during sex...and what women want from men during sex.

Good informative article LH.

In a way it's true what's written in the article. When I was going through puberty I was really shy and insecure about my body especially the vulva because it transformed completely from the way it was in my childhood.

But now am very much comfortable with my body and lady parts.

Thanks Vedika.

Nice to know that we do have some Members here who read the Articles!!

A woman needs to be confident about her body and then exude that confidence. I always encourage women to masturbate as this gives them knowledge about their bodies. How can you expect a man to give you pleasure, if you are not aware of what makes you go over the moon.

How many women really examine their genitalia before a mirror?
commented Apr 13 by Vedika (700 points)
Don't know about other women but I do examine mine whenever I find time. Also I do ensure to massage my genitalia (not masturbation) atleast  twice a week so that I could maintain a healthy blood flow which i believe would in turn help in maintaining my sexual health in the long run.

When I was in college hostel I used to see my vagina in mirror and rub to get pleasure.
