Is it necessary for Women above 50 years to wear panty?

asked Sep 14, 2017 in Questions by assan (120 points)

Last month, I saw a woman who is above 50, staying in my uncle's house for 15 days, wearing a panty under her saree.

Earlier, women who are passed menopause, did not wear panties. Is this a modern day trend? Is it necesaary to wear innerwear or is it a personal choice?

Earlier, in your view point, is when?

In tropical countries like (South, East and Western) India it is not necessary to wear under garments.

Earlier loincloth is the only piece of garment worn under waist by males. Check whether you wear a black thread around the waist - it will remind your forefather's stand. The traditional dress may still consists of a single garment below the waist with underwear as optional, like dhoti, lungi.

For women, petticoat is the optional undergarment below waist.

Earlier, in the scheme of things, where the panty stands for?

It is personal choice of the women so no one can generalize or there is no rule that once women reached the menopause she should stop wearing panty. Many women do wear panty for her comfy and many do wear for other purposes but there is no rule that when one should wear panty.

Its a personal choice. India is changing. Ladies these days want to try new things.

In earlier times they just wore a petticoat to have ease of sex with their hubby as lifting it up for sex was easy.

It's purely personal, and how naughty you feel . Anyway may I ask why are you so curious about it?
