3 years ago, I found that my wife and my younger brother were having sex. I saw them making out as I reached home earlier that day.

I did not react at that time as my bro was just 21 and understood that both were experimenting. Well, I guess this continued for a year or so. I never asked her about it.

Now as time passed, I am thinking that I should ask her about it and let her know that I knew about the sexual relationship between her and my brother. What do you think, I should do?

You have not told us what made you change your mind after 3 years and why do you now want to ask her about what happened in the past. 3 years is quite a long time to bring up the affair. It is not as if you just learned about this affair.

I feel that you now want to have some wife swapping or a threesome and want to pressurize your wife by bringing up old matters. You, I must say are very considerate of your younger brother and wanted him to get sex lessons at home itself. That was quite noble of you. And I like the way, you have justified this “both were experimenting”.

You have not clarified the points that I have asked. Tell me, what purpose will be fulfilled if you now ask her about what you know? You want to free your conscience, but what about her mental state?  

She will never be happy about your questioning. It is bound to create a division. She would have some idea that you already know (women are smart).

Since they have now stopped, no purpose in asking now. Your brother will also be upset. Just pretend you know nothing and move on.

But still if you want to stop them just narrate a story to your wife - that a person killed his wife when he found that she was making out with her younger brother in law. She will understand what you are trying to say.

Why do you want to tell her now? Do you want them to stop or continue? If you just want to tell her for no reason then do not make her embarrassed and allow her to continue with your brother.
