No age is mentioned in your profile. At what age you get married is not clear.....if sex is done after a gap some women feel irritation and pain, may be due to Vaginitisis.Dryness of vagina or lack of lubrication may be the cause.More foreplay may be required before penetration.Consult a Doctor,he will solve your problem.

It is possible if you are not enough wet and in the case you can use artificial lubricant to make your vagina wet and ask your husband to apply the lube on his penis before penetration. It would be advisable to see the gynecologist for accurate examination so you can know the real reason behind it and possible solution too so without delay see the doctor. You should have seen the doctor long before but still you have a  time so see  the doctor as it is something no one should take it lightly.

Hello Ambika,

There can be two scenarios here.

With condom: If you are using condoms, probably that condom is of bad quality and without proper lubrication which is resulting in itching.

Without Condom: You are self not lubricating, that's creating a friction and then itching. Nowadays lubrications are available in all medical stores. You should try having sex using them.

If the problem still persists, please consult a doctor.

Try to keep your sexual organs clean before you guys head for sex. Wash your genitals with Luke warm water after sex. Still consult a gynaecologist.
