My doubts about safe sex without condom.

Hi ,

I am 30 years old and my wife is 26. We have completed 3 years of married Life and are now planning to have a Baby.

I have some questions. Hope you can assist me.

1) Until now, I have used condoms during sex. Is it ok to go without condom now? I don't have any knowledge about HIV/STI/STDs etc.

2)Do we need to have a medical pre check up for HIV/STD?

3)Since last 4-5 months, I ejaculate outside my wife's vagina but still she is not getting pregnant. (She is not taking any pills).

4)Is it ok if  I insert my penis into her vagina and ejaculate inside? Is this safe or can we get HIV/STD?

1 - 2. If both of have never had sex with another parter beside her/her, then it is safe to presume that neither of you have any std. But still, to be on the safer side, you should get yourself and your wife checked for any std as some std like oral herpes can be transmitted non sexually.
3.To make a woman pregnant, you have to ejaculate INSIDE her vagina.

4. It is safe if both of you do not have any std. If you have any std, then you should consult a doctor.

Hello Sachin,

Let me answer you as per your question points.

1. Until now, you used condom during sex because you did't want baby at that time. Now it is ok to go without condom if you want a baby. If you don't have any knowledge about STD or HIV you can read the articles based on it and also you can consult a doctor for that for getting proper information. There is no shy in asking the doctor for such information. Don't get half information as half information is dangerous.

2. If you have had only one sex partner as your wife in your life and vice versa for your wife then I don't think you have any HIV/ STD's. Still you have any minor doubt, then do a test for STD/ HIV from a standard laboratory.

3. If you ejaculate outside your wife's vagina, then she will not get pregnant obviously. To get her pregnant you have to ejaculate inside her vagina. You can't gurantee that if you ejaculate one time only in her vagina that will make her pregnant. You never know how much time you have to ejaculate inside her vagina to make her pregnant. Though only one sperm is essential to make her pregnant but it should impregnate an egg in her ovary.

4. It is ok if you ejaculate inside her vagina. There is no harm in it.

Concluding all your questions, I will advice you that you should see a doctor for improving the knowledge about sex and pregnancy. Take full information about it and proceed.

Best of luck for future and married life.

If your wife is healthy then there is nothing to worry about such diseases and you are with your wife for three years and she is fine then it shows that she is a healthy woman so no need to go for any medical checkup as that is not required. You need to ejaculate in your wife vagina if you are planning for the baby as sperms should be entered in her womb to get her conceived.

I think you are taking unnecessary pressure on you as there is no need to worry about HIV as you are having sex with your wife only so be relaxed and enjoy the sex. If she would not get conceived in next 6 months then it would be better to go the gynecologist for further guidance. I would say Google when to have sex with your wife to make her pregnant fast as you need to have sex with in her fertile days.
