Hemorrhoids are not known to cause any libido problems or problems to the blood supply.

But if the hemorrhoids are severe enough to cause discomfort and pain, then general sense of illness could generally divert the attention to this problem than libido.

As erection involves tightening of anal sphincter muscles , it might increase the discomfort if you have hemorrhoid while having erections.

Other causes of decreased libido is low testosterone levels, medications etc. You should get a testosterone level done if symptoms persist even after resolution of the hemorrhoids.

Laxatives, stool softeners, ointments, lignocaine jelly and anti-inflammatory medications would help with hemorrhoids. If they are severe , then it is better to see your doctor to treat it.
Don't hesitate to ask any further doubts you may have.

I hope this helps you.

One of my friends has suffered from piles, his sex life is well, and piles have not made any difference, as it has no relationship with sex. I know it because of his girlfriend is my close friend and she used to share all this details with me. Piles and sex life has no connection so ask her to be tension free as piles are curable so no big deal.

Having haemorrhoids should have no effect on his penis, or his ability to enjoy sex, and lessees on the receiving end of anal sex.

His girlfriend should encourage him to go and visit his doctor, as haemorrhoids can be surgically removed without too much trouble.

hi shanaya,

i suffered from piles, but they are just started and i am taking medicine for cure.  i don't get any problems with them while having sex. my sex life is so good,
sometimes i get relief from piles pain by having sex with my wife. and while doing foreplay my wife spits saliva on my anus and make me erotic. i really enjoy my sex life even i have piles.
so don't think much and tell your friend not to bother about it.
have good sex.

thank you,
soft guy.
