Divorce lawyer 'hypnotised client to perform sex acts on him while in a trance'

Michael Fine, 57, is accused of telling the woman: "You are being made love to be the world's greatest lover"

Hypnosis: Michael Fine has been suspended while an investigation takes place.

A high flying Lawyer has been suspended after being accused of hypnotising a female client telling her "You are being made love to by the world's greatest lover". Police in Ohio have launched an investigation into claims Michael Fine forced her into performing sex acts while under his control.

The allegations against the 57-year-old were laid out in an emergency court motion from the Lorain County Bar association on Tuesday. At least one more woman has also gone to police with reports that the 30-year veteran had attempted to hypnotise her while discussing her divorce proceedings.

She says she only found out about the sex acts after she took a tape recorder to a meeting and heard what had happened when she later played the tape back. According to documents Fine told his alleged victim she was "being made love to by the world's greatest lover".

Trance: Fine is said to have tried to hypnotise a female client to get her to have sex with him.

However once he had finished the conversation she would "appear normal and only remember their discussions regarding legal matters." Fine, who has not been charged with any crime, is accused of posing "a substantial threat of serious harm to the public" after cops say they busted one of his lurid sessions with his victim earlier this month.

That woman, only identified as "Jane Doe," contacted police after numerous meetings with Fine left her with "strange memories and feelings." "She would be unable to recall substantial portions of the meetings, and afterwards she would realise her clothes and bra were out of place and moved," prosecutor Richard Thomas said.

He also stated she was aware she had been involved in sexual activity. After speaking to investigators they advised the woman not to to back to Fine's office however she later returned with a tape recorder.

According to court papers the pair spoke on the phone on October 10 during which Fine initially discusses her case before realising she was alone. He is then said to have placed her in a "trance".

Accused: The allegations were laid out at the Lorain County Justice Center.

The affidavit reads: "Thereafter, the conversation is of an explicit sexual nature, wherein he induces her into multiple orgasms. "Fine refers to himself as her 'teacher' and 'instructor' and that they have a special 'bond' and connection. "Fine assures her that she will appear normal and only remember their discussions regarding legal matters."

Two weeks later she recorded a second call. "Again Fine places her in a hypnotic spell and commences a lengthy sexually explicit conversation," the papers added. "He confirms that he wants this experience to happen continually in the future and that it will be secret without the ability of her to recall."

Police then obtain a warrant to record the lawyer in his office sending Jane Doe in on November 7. As police watched they saw Fine hypnotise his alleged victim before moving her to his sofa.

Surveillance: Fine was caught out by police following an undercover investigation.

A undercover surveillance camera captures Fine's "sexual dialogue" while he massaged her hand and shoulders. "At this point I and the other police enter the room," Mr Thomas added. A second woman has made similar allegations against the lawyer saying she felt hypnotised.

She said she could remember Fine would gently touch her fingers, forearm and forehead while directing her thoughts to a "wave of relaxation." The woman said she could never recall how much time had passed while with him but added he would ask about her sex life with her husband, and whether they had "rough sex."
